Theft charges: Tiffany D. Stewart, 30, of California, was charged by California police Friday with theft by deception, identity theft and access device fraud for allegedly using the credit card of a 61-year-old man and withdrawing $3,181 from his CalEd Credit Union account earlier this month. Police said she had gained the man’s trust and told him she would repay him. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Mirrors damaged: Herbert Mollenauer of 618 S. Central Ave. told Canonsburg police Thursday that both mirrors were damaged on his car.
Guns stolen: Kathleen Norton of 101 Ivy Court told Chartiers police Wednesday that a .40-caliber handgun and 12-gauge shotgun were stolen from her home.
iPad stolen: Savannah Wheeler of Houston told Chartiers police Wednesday that her Apple mini iPad was stolen from her backpack at Chartiers-Houston High School.
Scrap stolen: An employee of Mosites Construction told South Strabane police Thursday that scrap steel and pins valued at $800 were stolen from the Old Mill construction site at 27 Old Mill Boulevard.
