Pozonsky arraignment rescheduled for Nov. 25

The formal arraignment of former Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky, who is accused of stealing cocaine from police evidence while presiding over drug cases, has been rescheduled.

Pozonsky will now be arraigned at 10 a.m. Nov. 25 in Washington County Court before Senior Judge Daniel Lee Howsare of Bedford County.

The arraignment had scheduled for Oct. 21 but was postponed. Pozonsky faces charges of conflict of interest, theft, obstruction of justice, misapplication of entrusted government property and possession of a controlled substance.
