New Ringgold police officer sworn in
Washington County Judge Gary Gilman Monday administered an oath to retired state trooper Jeffrey L. Gillen as the Ringgold School District’s newest police officer.
The school board agreed in September to submit Gillen’s name to the court for approval. A resident of Belle Vernon, Westmoreland County, Gillen is a 1986 graduate of the state police academy. He has also retired as chief of the California Borough police department.
