Wheeling Jesuit senior dies day after assault
A student at Wheeling Jesuit University died early Sunday in a Pittsburgh hospital just 24 hours after he and a friend were beaten.
Kevin M. Figaniak, 21, of Perkasie, Bucks County, was pronounced dead of his injuries about 3 a.m. at UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh. He was initially taken to Wheeling Hospital after the assault.
