Fund established for crash victim’s family

1 min read

A fund drive has been established to assist the family of a 5-year-old Claysville Elementary School kindergartner who was killed Friday in a one-car crash in West Finley Township.

Karen DeMarino, an employee of WJPA-FM in Washington, said anyone can walk into a Citizens Bank to make a donation to the Taylor Ann Louise Stout memorial fund.

Taylor was killed when her mother’s car was forced off Majorsville Road by another vehicle, and it traveled down a 40-foot embankment about 7 a.m.

DeMarino said the girl’s parents had recently relocated from Ohio to Four Seasons Campground in West Finley in order for her father to take a job in the oil and gas industry.

“This is an immediate need,” she said.

The fund also has been created by McGuffey School District employee Georgene Mancini and Lori Mesta, who works for Citizens.

Checks made out to the fund can also be mailed to Citizens Bank, 4 W. Main St., Carnegie, PA 15106.
