Chamber scholarship deadline approaches
WAYNESBURG – The Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is reminding area high school seniors that the application deadline for the $1,500 chamber scholarship is 4 p.m. Monday.
This is the 24th year the Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded the scholarship. The scholarship program is open to any Greene County student who will be a graduating senior in 2014.

Applications are available in the chamber of commerce office at 143 East High Street and at each county high school as well as the Greene County Career and Technology Center.
Applications can also be obtained by calling the chamber office at 724-627-5926 or downloaded it from the chamber website at www.waynesburgchamber.com.
Completed applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. Monday. The winner will be announced in early May and the scholarship award presented at the chamber’s general membership luncheon May 28.
