A Pricedale woman faces charges of prostitution and criminal use of a communications facility after she allegedly made arrangements to meet a man at a Cecil Township hotel for sex last month.

But the man whom Carrie Livingstone, 47, arranged to meet was a Moon Township police officer who was conducting an Internet prostitution investigation in his own community, police said.

Cecil police were contacted March 6 by Moon police. The Moon detective was visiting a website, Allureous Model and Private Enterprise, which court records indicate offered photographs, contact information and a price list.

The Moon detective reportedly started exchanging telephone calls and text messages with Livingstone that became progressively more sexually explicit. She also allegedly sent him nude photographs of herself.

On March 13, police say she called and agreed to meet him at a location between Belle Vernon and Pittsburgh. Cecil police Chief Shawn Bukovinsky was contacted and agreed to participate in the investigation with his department.

Livingstone and the Moon detective agreed to meet at a hotel in Southpointe. Management at the hotel provided police with two rooms that were used in the undercover operation.

Police said when Livingstone arrived, the detective gave her his room number and contacted a Cecil police officer.

After the detective greeted her at the door, Livingstone reportedly went into the bathroom and changed, coming out wearing lingerie that exposed her private areas. The detective signaled police, who then entered the room. Police said they found Livingstone with $1,100, condoms and sex toys.

Charges were filed Wednesday at the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton and will be sent by summons. A preliminary hearing will be held at Dutton’s office May 15.
