Free shredding service offered
State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane, plans free shredding and document disposal from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3, in the parking lot of his constituent office at 1825 Washington Road, Washington.
Residents may bring all unneeded documents that contain personal information, including Social Security numbers, credit card numbers and bank account numbers, such as credit card statements and applications, canceled checks, income tax information, insurance records, medical information, retirement or pension fund information.
State Sen. Tim Solobay, D-Canonsburg, and Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome are joining Neuman to sponsor the event. No taxpayer money is being used to pay for the service. More information is available by calling Neuman’s constituent service office at 724-743-7602.
