Nurse practitioner joins SRMC Healthcare Group
WAYNESBURG – The Southwest Regional Medical Center Healthcare Group announced that Emily Bryan, a certified registered nurse practitioner, will be seeing patients at the Healthcare Group’s Carmichaels facility at 102 Carmichaels Plaza.
An open house will be held at the Carmichaels office from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Refreshments will be served.
Bryan, who is affiliated with Greene County Primary Care, will be scheduling patients from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays.
Bryan has been working with Dr. Amy Diamond at Greene County Primary Care for three years. Both specialize in family practice and primary care for patients ranging from birth through geriatrics.
“I am very excited to expand our practice to the Carmichaels area,” said Bryan. “We have many patients from this area already and this expansion will provide continued and convenient access to care for area residents.”
As a CRNP, Bryan is licensed to manage acute and chronic medical conditions through comprehensive history taking, physical examination, and the ordering of diagnostic tests and medical treatments. She is able to diagnose medical problems, order treatments, prescribe medications, and make referrals for a wide range of acute, mental and chronic medical conditions.
“Emily is a highly skilled practitioner and I am grateful for the opportunity to further grow the practice,” Diamond said. “I am certain patients will find her to be warm, friendly and prepared to provide care to their entire families.”
While Bryan will be treating patients in Carmichaels for two days a week, the main office at 220 Greene Plaza in Waynesburg will continue to be open five days a week. Patients of the practice will be able to schedule at either location.
