Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

David Jennion, 50, 809 Chess St., Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 24; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Trisha L. Thorpe, 27, 1562 Grange Road, Charleroi; use/possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 11; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Corey J. Schons, 19, 102 Camelot Circle, Coraopolis; first offense of driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 7, 2013; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail followed by 12 months of probation, $500 fine and one-year license suspension.

Robert J. Gibson, 32, 1 James St., Belle Vernon, theft by deception; charged Jan. 31, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and banned from Wal-Mart.

Natalie Isbell, 29, 952 Graham Ave., Monesson; harassment; charged Aug. 17, 2012; sentence – 3 months of probation, restitution to the victim and $300 fine.

Justin D. Parrett, 23, Annville, Ky.; forgery, theft and access device fraud; sentence – 6 to 24 months of probation, banned from Giant Eagle, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Brian Bobs, 19, 520 Third St., Charleroi; disorderly conduct; charged May 6; sentence – 12 months of probation and anger management.

Darla R. Hughey, 23, 532 Avella Road, Avella; burglary; charged Aug. 23; sentence – 9 to 18 months in jail and restitution to the victim.

Aaron M. Areford, 22, 110 Second St., Vestaburg; criminal trespass; charged Oct. 5, 2011; sentence – 5 years of probation and restitution to the victim.

Dustin S. Rush, 30, 121 Main St., West Alexander; four counts of receiving stolen property; charged Nov. 5; sentence – 23 months of probation with the first 90 days in a restrictive treatment program, followed by electronic home monitoring, 100 hours of community service, restitution and no contact with the victims.

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:

Jonathan J. Benjamin, 26, no known address; seven counts of retail theft; charged Aug. 13; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, restitution, banned from Wal-Mart.

Jared J. McClurg, 32, previously of 372 Pennsylvania Ave., North Charleroi; simple assault, defiant trespass and two counts of retail theft; charged May 20; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail, restitution, no contact with the victim, banned from Wal-Mart and Giant Eagle.

Michael R. Treece, 19, 171 Highland Terrace, Donora; filing a false report and providing false identification to law enforcement; charged May 4; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Randall G. Ray, 36, 25 Van Eman St., Canonsburg; endangering the welfare of children and harassment; charged June 21; sentence – 30 days to 18 months in jail, parenting classes.

Kailey Crouse, 21, 11 Columbus Drive, Monessen; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 5; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Graham Bolton, 32, 358 Dewey Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged Jan. 5, 2013; sentence – 4 to 23 months in jail, with first month in jail on weekends, followed by 3 months of electronic home monitoring, no contact with the victim, restitution.

Matthew E. Johns, 33, 113 Golf View Drive, McMurray; conspiracy and four counts of retail theft; charged Aug. 11; sentence – 8 to 23 months in jail, restitution, barred from Giant Eagle, Hallmark, GNC and Pittsburgh Comics, all in Peters Township.

Richard A. Windsheimer, 41, 282 W. State St., Oakdale; driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended and second offense of DUI; charged Dec. 7; sentence – 9 to 18 months of electronic home monitoring with first 90 days on SCRAM; $2,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension.

Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Ralph W. McLaughlin III, 41, 667 N. Main St., Houston; simple assault, second offense of DUI, driving with a suspended license, receiving stolen property and accident involving damage to vehicle; charged Dec. 1; sentence – 12 to 23 months in jail, $1,500 fine, anger management classes and no contact with the victim.

Isaac D. Glendenning, 18, 2024 Jefferson Ave., Washington; flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a controlled substance and providing false identification to law enforcement; charged Dec. 29; sentence – 23 months of probation and a curfew of 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Randy L. Castrodad, 49, 1300 Water St., Alverton; first offense of DUI; charged Aug. 29; sentence – 5 days to 6 months in jail, $300 fine and 12-month license suspension.

Two people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged.

Jason M. Midler, 31, 1584 Avella Road, Avella, was admitted for 12 months for possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 4.

Claudy Mathieu, 21, 100 Wood St., California, was admitted for 23 months for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment; also ordered to attend anger management classes and no have contact with the victim; charged Aug. 31.
