Neuman plans bus trip

State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane Township, is inviting constituents to join his fall bus trip to the state Capitol and nearby attractions in Harrisburg and Hershey.

The trip is set for Oct. 7 and stops will begin with a tour of the 108-year-old Capitol, a national historic landmark renowned as one of the most beautiful capitol in the country.

The tour of the Capitol will be followed by visits to Hershey’s Chocolate World – the “Sweetest Place on Earth” – and the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg.

The cost is $70 and includes lunch at the Capitol and the visits to Hershey and the Civil War Museum.

Pre-registration is required. Residents who need more information or who would like to register may call Neuman’s constituent service office at 724-743-7602.

Neuman represents the 48th Legislative District, which encompasses most of Washington County, including the city of Washington, the boroughs of Bentleyville, Canonsburg, Cokeburg, East Washington, Ellsworth and Houston, and parts or all of six townships.
