Woman sentenced on drug charges
WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg woman who pleaded guilty to selling heroin to a confidential informant and an undercover state police trooper three years ago was sentenced Thursday by Judge Farley Toothman to five years in the county intermediate punishment program.
Tabitha Lee Walls, 28, of 20 East View Court, pleaded guilty May 1 to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance.
On Sept. 8, 2011, Walls sold 0.09 grams of heroin for $150 to a confidential informant and an undercover trooper on South Washington Street in Waynesburg.
As part of the county program, Walls will spend 12 months on house arrest and the remaining time on regular supervision. She also will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing, must attend re-entry court each month and pay a $750 fine.
