Road work continues on Highland-Ridge project
A small portion of North College Street will be closed from Tuesday until Sept. 12, and other nearby roads face single-lane closures for the rest of September as crews prepare to finish construction work in the Highland-Ridge neighborhood.
Crews will close North College Street between Highland Avenue and East Walnut Street so they can excavate the road and install a manhole in the area. Highland will have one lane open from Sept. 8 to 12 for excavating and paving during that time.
Milling work will be performed on Highland Avenue Sept. 15, with leveling and binding the following two days. Other work will continue there until Sept. 26.
Overlay paving will be performed intermittently on different portions of Highland Avenue from Sept. 8 to 29, with overnight work beginning Oct. 3.
