Assault arrest: Joshua D. Stone, 27, of 126 Jeanne St., Washington, was arrested Friday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting Caitlin Slavka during a confrontation at 14 Weaver Run Road, Amwell. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Credit card used: Bryan E. Riggs, 25, of 308 Colonial Drive, Waynesburg, was charged last week by state police with access device fraud for allegedly using a credit card belonging to his former girlfriend, Kristine Laurine of Amwell, to make $287.15 in purchases on eBay earlier this year. Police said he did not have permission to use the card. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Stand burglarized: State police said the Highlanders Soccer Association concession stand at 1320 N. Sunset Beach Road, Buffalo, was burglarized Friday. The top of the cash register was stolen.

Woman assaulted: Chad Stroud, 21, of 202 Peach Ave., Burgettstown, was arrested Saturday by McDonald police on charges of simple assault, public drunkenness and harassment. He is accused of hitting Krysta Garove in the face several times while she was in a vehicle. He fled and was apprehended a few hours later, police said. Stroud was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Driver facing charges: James E. Jackson, 53, of 1003 Frederick Court, Canonsburg, faces charges including driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of a crash after he allegedly struck a vehicle driven by Diane McCarthy, 67, also of Frederick Court, Sunday night. He allegedly left when she told him she was calling police. Police said he failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his level of intoxication.

Dirt bike stolen: Robert E. Housley of 220 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg, told borough police Wednesday that his green and white 2006 Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from his property.

Disorderly, DUI charges: Renee Hicks, 42, of Masontown, was arrested early Friday by California police after she allegedly went to the home of Norman Soloman, 24 Intermediate Drive, Coal Center. She reportedly banged on the door, breaking the glass. Solomon told police that he has a protection-from-abuse order against her. She also allegedly drove while intoxicated to a convenience store. Hicks was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of criminal mischief, driving under the influence of alcohol, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. She was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Driver injured: Juanita Roupe, 56, of West Finley, was slightly injured early Friday when her vehicle slid on an icy East Finley Drive (Route 231), Donegal, hit an embankment and rolled over. State police said she was treated at the scene.

Drug, assault charges: Cody Thomas Nichols, 27, of 734 Thompson Ave., Donora, was arrested Sunday by Donora police after he allegedly choked and hit Randi Weaver during a confrontation at his home. Police said they also found him with a pill not prescribed to him. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of possession of a controlled substance, simple assault and harassment. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Fugitive nabbed: Thomas S. Reynolds II, 50, of 112 Bluff St., McDonald, was taken into custody at his home Thursday by McDonald police. He was arrested as a fugitive from justice. He is wanted by police in Maine on a drug trafficking warrant issued Nov. 14. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail without bond for 30 days, pending extradition to Maine.

Assault arrest: Paul W. Nelson III, 28, of 809 Young Ave., Monongahela, was arrested Thursday by Monongahela police after he allegedly punched Crystal Earnhart in the face and chest several times. She was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of simple and aggravated assault. He was placed in Washington County jail on $35,000 bond.

Driver cited: Caleb Knoedler, 28, of Washington, was cited by state police with having bald tires after the vehicle he was driving slid on a snow-covered Brush Run Road near Route 519, North Bethlehem, Wednesday morning. The vehicle hit an embankment and rolled over. Knoedler was not injured.

Robbery, assault arrest: Roy Randall Lane, 37, of 1393 N. Main St., Washington, was arrested Wednesday night by Charleroi Regional police for allegedly taking a vehicle owned by Erin Wright, 502 Lincoln Ave., North Charleroi, without permission. He also allegedly injured her finger. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of robbery and simple assault. Lane was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Money stolen: Otabek Shakirov of Pittsburgh told North Strabane police Sunday his vehicle was broken into while it was parked at The Meadows Casino, Racetrack Road. A bag containing $800 and two Uzbekistan driver’s licenses was stolen.

Endangerment charge: Daniel B. White, 35, of 114 Lutes Road, Finleyville, was charged last week by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of children and traffic violations stemming from an Oct. 27 traffic stop on Waterdam Road near North Spring Valley Road. Police said his 6-year-old son was in the vehicle when it was stopped. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft arrest: Brian Crowell, 40, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Friday by Peters police stemming from a Nov. 16 incident in which he allegedly stole items valued at more than $1,425 from Giant Eagle, Washington Road. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on a charge of retail theft and released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

PFA violation alleged: Glenn E. Reynolds, 52, of 108 Clearview Drive, McMurray, was arrested Wednesday by Peters police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained Nov. 18 by his wife from Judge Michael Lucas. The order banned him from having contact with her. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.

Gasoline stolen: Scott M. Jordan, 30, of 752 Duncan Ave., Washington, was arrested Friday by Peters police for allegedly stealing a total of $214.37 in gasoline from GetGo, 4031 Washington Road, on four different occasions. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Vehicle damaged: Kasey Gallagher of Canonsburg told McDonald police her vehicle was scratched when it was returned to her Thursday at a home at 1473 Robinson Highway, Robinson.

Threat charge: Clarence “Shorty” Shrader, 64, of 2175 S Bridge Road, Prosperity, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to kill a township resident. The voicemail was left on the resident’s telephone Nov. 24, police said. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in crash: Christopher Courtley, 65, of Pittsburgh, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with leaving the scene of a crash, careless driving and a red light violation stemming from a Nov. 11 hit-and-run crash on Washington Road at Old Mill Boulevard. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Parking lot crash: Lindsay Althea Salamone, 29, of 15 Maple St., Eighty Four, was charged last week by South Strabane police with leaving the scene of an accident and a traffic violation after allegedly leaving the scene of a minor crash in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, Trinity Point, on Nov. 8. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Trespass, prowling charges: Kodi Michael Foley, 22, of 1412 E. Maiden St., Washington, was charged Monday by South Strabane police with criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness after a resident of Naser Avenue reportedly awoke to find Foley in his home. Police said Foley left the home, but without taking his driver’s license and shoes. He was found a short time later at his home. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

DUI charge: William M. Wilson, 45, of Greenfield, Mo., was charged Monday by South Strabane police with driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations after police say he was found passed out, parked in a driveway in the 1100 block of Arrowhead Drive, last week. Police said there also was an open can of beer in the car. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Mischief charge: Ashley E. Cantaral, 26, of 512 Rocky Run Road, West Finley, was charged last week with criminal mischief by South Strabane police. She is accused of scratching a vehicle owned by David Galiffa on Oct. 25 while it was parked in the lot at Wal-Mart, Trinity Point. Damage was estimated at $1,050.

Assault arrest: Christina M. Mesina, 22, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Saturday by Southwest Regional police for allegedly punching Donald Booth in the face during a confrontation at 20 Parkvue Drive, Union. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on a charge of simple assault and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Drug charges: Troy Lamont Saunders Sr., 49, of 102 E. Hallam Ave., was charged by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with drug possession and tampering with evidence stemming from an incident Nov. 21. Saunders allegedly threw a bag of suspected crack cocaine out of his vehicle window before he was pulled over. The officer also reported finding remains of burned broken glass, and Saunders allegedly had a small digital scale in his pocket. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charges: David Allen Kriston, 35, of 746 Addison St., Washington, was charged by state police with drug and paraphernalia possession for allegedly having cigarette papers and a small bag of marijuana in his vehicle Nov. 2 in the Walgreens parking lot on West Chestnut Street. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Criminal mischief: Edward Ullom of the 100 block of W. Hallam Ave. reported to city police that his phone line was cut about 2 a.m. Monday.
