A public light up night will be held at the Greensboro gazebo at 6 p.m. Saturday.

A cantata celebrating the birthday of a king will be presented Dec. 14 by the combined choirs of the Washington Street, Throckmorton and First United Methodist churches in Waynesburg. The first presentation will be at 9 a.m. at Washington Street United Methodist and the second will be at 10:45 a.m. at First United Methodist. The choir is under the direction of the Rev. Bill Parker. “The First Noel” was arranged by Russell Mauldin and created by Mauldin and Susan C. Smith. For information, call 724-627-5951.
