Court cases
The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Jeremy E. Posey, 21, Huntingdon; simple assault; charged April 1, 2012; sentence – 23 months of probation, continue with mental health treatment, banned from California University of Pennsylvania campus and no contact with victim.
Sean E. Haines, 29, 109 Linden Road, Canonsburg; burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 23, 2013; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months in jail, 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victims or co-defendant.
Shushawna Johnson, 35, 29 Victoria St., Washington; forgery; charged Sept. 19, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.
