Pa. driver crushed, killed by stuck water tanker

1 min read

SPRINGVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Police say the driver of a water tanker was crushed to death when he fell under the vehicle and it rolled over him in a snowy northeast Pennsylvania ditch.

Fifty-one-year-old David Nesbitt was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident Wednesday night in Springville Township.

Majelus LLC says Nesbitt was hauling waste water from a natural gas drilling site when his truck slid down a slick hill and into a ditch.

Police say Nesbitt jumped out of the truck and fell underneath as it was still moving.
