DUI crash: State police said driving under the influence charges are pending against Ethan Yoss, 25, of Aleppo, following a vehicle crash 12:55 a.m. Nov. 30 on Route 8 near Tower Road. No other details of the accident were provided.

Driver injured: A Canonsburg man was injured at 2:10 p.m. Dec. 4 on Route 18 just north of Crooked Hill Road. Police said Robert Gibson, 44, was traveling south when he failed to negotiate a curve. Gibson crossed over the northbound lane, exited the road on the east side and struck a tree. Police said Gibson continued south and struck another tree. He was transported to Southwest Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Police also cited Gibson for careless driving.

Theft of fuel: Southwest Regional Police are investigating the theft of $50 worth of gas from BFS Sunoco in Mt. Morris at 9:18 p.m. Nov. 29. Police said a white female, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with dark hair, possibly in her mid-20s, pumped fuel and paid with a check that was ultimately declined by the bank.

Child endangerment: A Waynesburg man was charged by Southwest Regional Police with endangering the welfare of children following an incident Nov. 1 in Point Marion. Joshua Skelton,1335 N. Liberty St., also was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment related to a reported assault involving a 12-year-old male.
