Waynesburg man entered into ARD
WAYNESBURG- Greene County Judge Farley Toothman admitted a Waynesburg man to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program Friday.
Those accepted into the program must serve at least one-year probation and pay all fines and costs.
Defendants who enter the program charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and be required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol.
Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.
Zachary David Pollock, 23, of 245 Sherman Ave., Waynesburg, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI incapable of safe driving and one summary traffic violation. Pollock was arrested on May 25 in Jefferson Township. Police said he was speeding and weaving along Route 88 when they pulled him over. Pollock’s blood-alcohol content was 0.265 percent. His driver’s license was suspended for 60 days and Pollock will be required to perform 90 hours of community service.
