1 min read

PITTSBURGH (AP) – A Pittsburgh elementary school was placed on lockdown after a parent there to pick up his daughter found a dead body in a car outside.

Police say 20-year-old Jordan Kearney may have been left there overnight after a shooting around 11 p.m. Tuesday in the city’s Sunnyside section.

No one noticed until parent Bill Sheran says he saw a car with a broken window in parking lot at Sunnyside Elementary around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

He says he saw three bullet casings on the ground and a man in the car with a pair of bullet wounds.

The school serving kindergarten through eighth grade remained on lockdown for about an hour before staff allowed students to board buses home.
