Throckmorton United Methodist Church in East View will serve a free community dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will ham, au gratin potatoes, lima beans, applesauce, deserts and beverages. Takeouts are available, donations are accepted and everyone is welcome.
Resurrection Bible Church, 522 WW Railroad Road, Sycamore, Village of Swarts, will host a Christmas Hymn Sing at 7 p.m. Sunday. Vocalists Pastor Jason Woods, Lauren Beaumont, Jeff Hughes II and Pastor Jeff Hughes will sing special music along with congregational singing. A candlelight service will conclude the service.
