4 teens die in fiery head-on crash in Pennsylvania
PALMERTON – Authorities said four teens died in a fiery head-on crash in Pennsylvania that left one car upside-down and another split in two.
State troopers at the Lehighton barracks in Carbon County said the vehicles collided shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday in Lower Towamensing Township in the eastern part of the state.
Coroner Bruce Nalesnik identified the victims as a 19-year-old man, two 16-year-old boys and a 13-year-old girl.
Two other people were taken to the hospital. Nalesnik said they are expected to survive.
WFMZ-TV reports the violent collision left one car ablaze and on its roof and the other split in half.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
