Police beat Dec. 22
DUI charge: Richard Briant III, 39, of Washington, will be charged this week with driving under the influence of a controlled substance stemming from an Oct. 11 incident when he was found passed out at the wheel of his vehicle on Griffith Avenue, Canton, state police said. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Driver injured: Susan L. Kennedy, 46, of Zanesville, Ohio, was injured Saturday morning when her westbound car was struck by a wheel that came off an eastbound car on Interstate 70 east of the Claysville exit, Donegal. State police said the front driver’s side wheel broke off a Kia Sedona driven by Martin M. Guia, 35, of Columbus, Ohio. The wheel crossed the median, hitting the windshield of Kennedy’s car.
Disorderly conduct: Raymond Anthony McDonald, 19, of Presto, will be charged by McDonald police with disorderly conduct after he was found with drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop early Sunday on South McDonald Street.
