Police beat Dec. 23
Trespass charge: Chaz Gaston, 25, of 666 Broad St., Washington, was arrested Sunday by Washington police on charges of criminal trespass, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after he allegedly entered the Lincoln Terrace home of his ex-girlfriend, Morgan Lojek. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
Theft charges: Scott M. Jordan, 30, of 752 Duncan Ave., Washington, was arrested Sunday night by Washington police after he allegedly stole $800 and a set of brass knuckles from a vehicle owned by Jeremy Pettit while it was parked on Oxford Street. Police said the department’s K-9, Golem, tracked Jordan to his home. Police said he left his young son home alone during the alleged theft. Jordan was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of theft from a vehicle, receiving stolen property, endangering the welfare of children and possession of cocaine. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Church burglarized: Fairhill Manor Christian Church at 351 Montgomery Ave., Washington, was burglarized early Friday, and loose change and a towel set were stolen. Police said the burglar entered the church by breaking a basement window.
Cited by BLCE: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited the Pulaski Club, 1180 Summerlea Ave., for possession or operation of gambling devices, or permitting gambling, lotteries, pool selling and/or bookmaking on the premises. The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge.
