A New Year’s Eve party will be held at Carmichaels VFW Post 3491. The event will begin at 8:30 p.m. and include a midnight buffet and music by DJ Get-er-done. The cost is $10 per person and proceeds benefit veterans’ programs. The public is welcome to attend. No smoking will be permitted in the social hall.
Waynesburg VFW Post 4793 will hold a New Year’s Eve party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be no cover charge. The party will feature music by “Two Peas in a Pod,” an ugly sweater contest, food and a toast at midnight. The event is open to members and guests only.
