W. Pa. pastor faces more assault allegations

1 min read

UNIONTOWN – A Western Pennsylvania pastor currently jailed and awaiting trial for allegedly trying to inappropriately touch a girl is facing new allegations involving three more girls.

WTAE-TV said Tuesday the most recent alleged victims went to police after 66-year-old Ray Teets’ arrest in November. He’s charged in that case with meeting an 11-year-old girl at her home, taking her to a woodshed and trying to inappropriately touch her.

The latest cases go as far back as 1999, when a woman, now 21, told police Teets inappropriately touched her at church. Two sisters told authorities Teets would enter their bedroom and hug and kiss them without their permission.

Teets is awaiting preliminary hearings on the latest charges. He is awaiting trial in Fayette County Court on the earlier charges.
