Greene County Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the second floor conference room of the Greene County Office Building.
The auxiliary board of Southwest Regional Medical Center will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the fourth-floor conference room at the hospital.
The Cornerstone Ministry Center in Jefferson is inviting elementary students in grades two through six and teen students in grades seven through 12 to a “Saturday Happening” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 18. These events are held the third Saturday each month. Activities include dodge ball, nine square, carpet ball, checkers, air hockey, connect four, crafts, ping pong, archery and Ga-ga ball. The competition will be by age groups. Registration can be made by phone no later than the Wednesday before the event. Cost is $5 and lunch is provided. Awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m. and parents are invited. There is free bus transportation for Washington County students. To register and for more information, call Carolyn at 724-222-9856.
