Canton road to close

A section of Weirich Avenue between Hayes and Caldwell avenues in Canton Township will close at 7 a.m. Wednesday and remain closed until July 25 so the state Department of Transportation can repair slides along the road.

A marked detour will use Armstrong Drive, Route 40, Interstate 70, Jefferson Avenue and West Wylie Avenue.
