1 min read

A former Washington County deputy sheriff arrested last month by the state attorney general’s office on drug charges after he allegedly sold narcotics to an informant waived his case to court Thursday before Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.

Matthew Miller, 29, of 215 Cole School Road, Jefferson Township, waived charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communications facility. He was taken into custody June 4 after allegedly selling Suboxone to the informant near the Bavington exit of Route 22 in Robinson Township.

He is scheduled for formal arraignment Sept. 24.
