A Canonsburg man working on a roof on West College Street was rescued by Canonsburg firefighters just before 11 a.m. Friday when he apparently suffered a seizure.

John Kosek was working about 30 feet above the ground on scaffolding when he suffered the seizure said Assistant Fire Chief David Rhome. Kosek was conscious when emergency crews arrived, but was disoriented.

The tower truck was used by firefighters and emergency medical personnel to remove Kosek from the scaffolding and bring him to the ground. He was then taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
