Greene County sheriff issues activity report for May
WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for May.
• The office processed 56 civil actions and served 56 documents related to civil actions; it processed 13 real estate sales and served papers related to nine real estate sales.
• The office processed seven personal property actions and served documents related to 10 personal property actions.
• It processed 10 protection from abuse actions and served papers related to nine protection-from-abuse actions.
• The office processed 72 licenses to carry concealed weapons. It processed seven warrants and served six.
• The office transported eight inmates for out-of-state extraditions and 35 inmates for the Greene County Court. It also assisted 12 outside agencies.
• The office engaged in one special detail, two K9 details, one Children and Youth custody assist, made four traffic stops resulting in four warnings.
• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 3,554.
