Keep Me Safe series to conclude Saturday

WAYNESBURG – The Family Literacy and Children’s Departments at the Eva K. Bowlby Public Library are offering the third and final part of their Keep Me Safe series from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

“Keep Me Safe and Protected” will feature FBI personnel who will be available and offer tips for keeping children safe from strangers and bullies, as well as provide free inkless fingerprinting services for children ages 5 to 17. There will be numerous activities and games related to personal safety, as well as a skit on “Stranger Danger.”

The Keep Me Safe series is an annual event in the month of June, and is free to all citizens in the area. The Keep Me Safe series is designed for family members to participate together, along with activities, crafts and snacks.
