Police beat June 20
Drug charges: Karie Naylor, 39, of East McKeesport, is charged by borough police with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, accused of having six anti-anxiety pills without a prescription about 4:30 a.m. April 5, court records state. Police accuse her of having the mediations when they found her in her vehicle, pulled off to the side of South McKean Avenue. She is free on $5,000 after being arrested on a warrant Monday and arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson.
Robbery suspect jailed: Steven C. Loughman, 41, who police said is homeless, is charged by city police with robbery, resisting arrest and retail theft, court records show. Police accuse him of fighting with officers about 11 p.m. Tuesday at Chicken Charlies Six Pack Shop, 501 Jefferson Ave., after employees there said he attempted to steal nearly $24 worth of beer. Loughman is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Drug charges filed: Daniel Madden, 25, of 25 Meyers Road, Washington, is charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia in a summons filed by city police, accused of having three stamp bags of heroin and seven empty stamp bags about 10 p.m. Tuesday at 35 E. Hallam Ave., court records state. Police were called to the residence of Ian M. Eshbaugh to investigate a drug overdose. Police also filed a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia against Eshbaugh, 23, records show.
Drug charge: Christopher S. Patterson, 19, of 252 Reed Ave., Houston, is charged with drug possession in a summons filed by city police, accused of having 25 pills in a vehicle pulled to the side of the 600 block of West Crest Avenue about 10 p.m. Sunday, court records state.
Assault alleged: Mykhael T. Kelley, 20, of 140 W. Wylie Ave., Washington, is charged with simple assault, harassment and theft in a summons filed by city police, court records show. Police accuse him of punching his former girlfriend, Erica Powell, and dragging her down stairs about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday at 520 Jefferson Ave., and also stealing her cellphone.
Cars and home damaged: City police received numerous calls Wednesday about vehicles and a home being damaged with black spray paint along Church Street, Jollick Manner, Duncan and Allison avenues. There are no suspects.
