Man charged: Fred Neil, 45, of 998 Green St., California, is charged by borough police with open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records state. Police accuse him of exposing himself to a woman about 7:15 p.m. Friday at 201 Wood St. He is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge James Ellis.
Drug arrest: Chester J. Lesjak, 36, of 325 Summit Ave., Canonsburg, is charged by borough police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and endangering the welfare of children, court records show. Police accuse him of having his infant son with him while also carrying two bricks of heroin discovered in a traffic stop about 1:30 p.m. Sunday along South Central Avenue Extension, the affidavit indicates. Lesjak is in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set by District Judge James Ellis.
Woman charged: Eden M. Conners, 25, of 35 Mark Ave., Canton, is charged by state police with three counts of endangering the welfare of children, accused of leaving her three children unattended at their residence about 2 p.m. Saturday, court records state. Police said a shotgun and handgun were accessible to the children in the residence. Conners is free on $2,500 bond set by District Judge James Ellis.
Woman jailed: Gwen Baumgardner, 29, of 317 Shady Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi police with possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer apprehended her about 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Fallowfield Avenue on an arrest warrant charging her with a theft in Donora, court records show. Donora police accuse her of stealing $108 from a taxi driver about 2:15 p.m. June 16. Baumgardner is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge James Ellis.
Theft report: Township police said a white fuel tank containing 50 gallons of diesel fuel and a 12-volt pump were reported stolen from Mid-State Oil Tools, 615 Pike St., about 4 p.m. Sunday.
Theft arrest: Ashlee Jackson, 30, of 611 12th St., Monessen, is charged by borough police with theft, accused of stealing jewelry from Chelsea Hill of Waddell Avenue in Donora about noon Sept. 20, 2013, and later selling it to a Rostraver Township pawnshop, court records state. She is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond after being arrested Friday on a warrant and arraigned before District Judge James Ellis.
Threats alleged: Stephen D. Phillips, 51, of 210 Railroad St., Cecil Township, is charged by borough police with making terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and marijuana possession, court records state. Police accuse him of stating in a telephone conversation about 10 p.m. Saturday with Mary Plumley of McDonald that he intended to shoot her and her family. Phillips is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge James Ellis.
One-vehicle accident: Two people were hospitalized after a one-vehicle accident at 7:56 p.m. Sunday on West McMurray Road, near Roscommon. A vehicle driven by Brittany Puskarich, 24, of 240 Highwayview Drive, McMurray, veered off the road and struck a telephone pole. Witnesses said Puskarich seemed to be traveling at a normal speed, and there were no signs of braking. Puskarich was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. A front-seat passenger, Sarah Reaves, 24, of 4907 Friendship Avenue, Pittsburgh, was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital.
Theft: Police are investigating a retail theft Saturday from Walgreen’s, 3870 Washington Road. A store supervisor told police that a man carrying an empty bag entered the store about 6:20 p.m., and a woman entered the store a few seconds later carrying a large purse. The two separated, and the man asked for assistance in finding something in the store. When the supervisor returned to check on the woman, the man exited the building carrying the bag, which was now full, and got into a large SUV with another person behind the wheel. The supervisor followed. The woman also exited around this time, and the supervisor noticed three bottles of skin cream in her purse. The store said the items had a total value of $103.75. The supervisor got the plate number from the SUV. The investigation continues.
Juvenile arrested: Police were called to Elm Grove Park at 8:49 a.m. Saturday for a report of a fight between a father and son. The man said he was talking to his son about seeing a private drug addiction professional when the boy got upset and threatened him. The boy then climbed out a window. When police arrived, they saw the boy holding a folding knife with the blade out. Police disarmed and handcuffed the juvenile, who was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.
Drug arrest: Police received a call at 8:16 a.m. Saturday from a man who was trying to prevent his wife, Leslie Marcello, 32, of 589 Orchard Street, Carnegie, from leaving a residence in her vehicle because of his concern that she was impaired. Two officers were dispatched to the home and a third was sent as backup. When the third officer was turning onto Bebout Road from East McMurray Road, he said he noticed a woman in a silver Honda with some damage driving at a high speed. When the officer pulled her over, he said she was disoriented but consented to a search. The officer said he found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. Marcello, who was taken to a local hospital, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use.
Criminal mischief: Police were called at 8:03 a.m. Saturday for a report of criminal mischief in the Braeburn Drive area. When an officer drove through the neighborhood, he observed various profanities spray-painted throughout the area – on four different houses, the street, one stop sign and a mailbox. On Wellington Circle, a home and driveway were spray-painted, and the sign entering the plan on Club View Drive also was painted.
Institutional vandalism: Spray-painted obscenities were discovered about 1 p.m. Wednesday on the front shutters at Mingo Creek Presbyterian Church, 561 Mingo Church Road, Southwest Regional police reported Monday.
Mother accused of fighting son: Washington police said they cited Stella Kriston, 51, for disorderly conduct after she was accused of fighting with her adult son about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at their home at 746 Addison Ave.
Disorderly conduct citation: George R. Patterson, 48, of 655 Henderson Ave., Washington, was cited for disorderly conduct after he allegedly punched a man near his home about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, city police said.
Harassment citation: Shantye Brown, 34, of 229 Lincoln Terrace, Washington, was cited for harassment after city police said she attacked a woman and pushed her to the ground near her residence shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday.
Disorderly conduct citation: City police said they cited Jason Lossu, 41, of 291 E. Prospect St., Washington, with disorderly conduct after he was accused of trying to hit a man with his car before punching him about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
