Truck damaged: The windshield of a West Penn Power truck being driven by Allan Santi of Scenery Hill was damaged when a person who exited the Bentleyville Tavern, Main Street, threw a beer bottle at it just before 2 a.m. Sunday, Southwest Regional police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Keys stolen: Margaret Lehman of Ellsworth reported to Southwest Regional police that the keys to her vehicle were stolen from the ignition while she was at Zerambos Bait, Main Street, at about 9 p.m. Friday.

Pool damaged: Beverly Vahaly of Saulters Avenue told Southwest Regional police that her pool liner was slashed and obscenities were spray-painted on the deck. The vandalism occurred between June 16 and Thursday.

Theft report: Michael Brown, 50, of 626 Park St., California, is being charged by borough police with theft, accused of stealing a computer from a roommate about 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18, borough police reported Tuesday.

Cash missing: Andrea Slebonick of 5 S. DePaoli Road told police $1,400 in cash was missing from her dresser drawer. The theft report was made at 4 p.m. Saturday. The cash was last seen Friday, police said.

Checks cashed: Theresa Gogarty of 30 Lynncrest Circle, Cecil, discovered two checks were missing from her checkbook and each was cashed for $100, township police said. The theft was reported at 9:16 a.m. Friday.

Access device fraud: A man told police he ate at a township restaurant on June 5 and paid with his corporate credit card. When he discovered the card was missing later, he called the restaurant and picked up his card there the next day. However, his bank notified him the card was used without his authorization to make online purchases of $44,367, police said, and that there might be a link to Italy. The report was made at 11:12 a.m. Saturday.

Tires slashed: A resident of the 900 block of Bebout Road had two tires slashed on his vehicle, which was parked in his driveway. The incident was reported at 1:45 p.m. Monday, police said. The value of the slashed tires is $236.

Refrigerator stolen: A refrigerator valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house under construction on Farmview Drive in the Berkely Ridge plan, township police said. The refrigerator is owned by Heartland Homes. The theft was reported Monday.

Theft report: Items were stolen from Jacob Cottrell during a burglary at his residence at 225 Hunter Lane between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, state police reported Tuesday.

Theft from garage: Sharon Tortorice of Fairview Avenue told Southwest Regional police that a Dewalt tool set and two Husquanarva chainsaws were stolen from her garage. The theft was discovered Saturday.

Copper stolen: Copper pipes and a hot water tank were stolen Monday morning from a home on Gilmore Road owned by Mary Karlek of Union Township, Southwest Regional police said.

Welfare fraud charge: Harbeth Hayes, 34, of 117 Hall Ave., was charged with welfare fraud after investigators said she lied about being employed during an initial interview with the Department of Public Welfare, police said. The theft of roughly $3,500 was reported between January and October 2013. The charges were filed by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Traffic stop: David W. Fonner, 47, of 215 Hayes Ave., was cited for disorderly conduct and driving while under suspension after a traffic stop Monday, police said. Marijuana cigarettes were also located in the vehicle. Fonner was cited and released.
