WIND RIDGE-The 2014 Miss Jacktown Fair Princess Pageant will he held July 13 in the commercial hall at Jacktown Fairgrounds. The pageant has three contestants.

Each girl had to submit a poster advertising an event at the fair, an illustrated drawing, model a sundress with a short introduction and complete a three-minute interview session. The new princess will be crowned at the end of the pageant by outgoing 2013 Jacktown Fair Princess Emily Cooke, the daughter of Karl Cooke of Waynesburg and Katie Cooke of Holbrook.

Candidates are Kaileigh Coneybeer, 9, Jordan Karvan, 10, and Veronica Lasko, 8.

Coneybeer, a daughter of Nathaniel Nakonechri and Crystal Crawford of Holbrook. Coneybeer participates in cheerleading, soccer, chorus and dance. Her hobbies include bike riding, drawing, painting, photography and sports.

Karvan, a daughter of Renee Morris and Daniel Karvan of Wind Ridge. Karvan enjoys baseball, basketball and reading.

Lasko, 8, a daughter of Tracey Stewart and Michael Lasko. She participates in cheerleading and dance and is a volunteer at Catnip Acres. Lasko’s hobbies include gardening, baking and raising calves.
