Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Christianne Valla, 27, 236 Charles St., Belle Vernon; simple assault; charged May 29, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation and restitution.

Dane J. Sayles, 33, 203 Cedar Hill Drive, McMurray; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged May 3; sentence – 30 days of probation.

Samuel L. Maloy IV, 45, 99 Maple Ave., Washington; possession with intent to deliver; charged Aug. 9, 2011; sentence – 3 years of probation, contraband destroyed and funds seized.

Justin J. Wujcik, 33, 118 Billen Ave., Monongahela; use of altered display documents or plates; charged June 4, 2013; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Allen M. Basel, 25, 900 Anne St., Charleroi; flight to avoid apprehension and possession with intent to deliver; charged April 10; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail.

Preston E. Klages, 30, 221 S. College St., Washington; possession with intent to deliver; charged May 25, 2011; sentence – 6 to 23 months of electronic home monitoring, continue with medical and psychiatric care, contraband destroyed and funds seized.

Michael R. Fye, 25, 386 Cummings Road, Tioga; second offense of driving under the influence and driving without a license; charged June 29; sentence – 60 days to 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $950 fine.

Laura M. Vello, 29, 216 Center Church Road, McMurray; disorderly conduct and second offense of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 5; 60 days to 6 months of electronic home monitoring, $600 fine, 12-month license suspension followed by 12-month ignition interlock device and restitution.

Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Janine R. Sterids, 31, 806 Broad St., Washington; second offense of driving under the influence; charged March 10; sentence – 95 days to 23 months in jail, 18-month license suspension followed by 1-year ignition interlock device, $300 fine and restitution.

Richard A. Walters, 46, 5 James St., Brownsville; first offense of driving under the influence; charged Nov. 28; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program with first 10 days of electronic home monitoring and $300 fine.

Trisa L. Stickle, 22, 1908 Hunters Ridge, Brownsville; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, charged Sept. 10; sentence – 18 months of probation and $200 fine.

James R. Hines, 57, 503 Bosses Row Road, Crucible; first offense of driving under the influence; charged April 26, 2013; sentence – 7 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo were:

Tramell L. Perry, 20, 1844 Calistoga St., Pittsburgh; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first offense of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license; charged July 20; sentence – 18 months of probation, $500 fine, 25 hours of community service and no contact with the victim.

Paul E. Pasquinelli Jr., 42, 52 Boyka Drive, Finleyville; use of altered display documents or plates and driving with a suspended license; charged May 21, 2011; 60 days of electronic home monitoring and 12 months of probation.
