Drug arrest: April J. Clancy, 33, of 125 McKean Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession, endangering the welfare of children and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse her of possessing 47 stamp bags of heroin, 47 used stamp bags, 104 empty wrappers and two doses of Suboxon in the presence of her children when they went to her residence under a separate investigation about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 9, the affidavit indicates. She is in Washington County jail on $35,000 bond after being arrested in the case Thursday and arraigned by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Woman jailed: Deidre L. Mariani, 44, of 1005 Crest Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with possession of drug paraphernalia over accusations she had a pipe for using drugs when an officer approached of her on Fifth Street about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 25, court records show. She is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant and arraigned Thursday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Wire stolen: About 200 feet of copper wire, valued at $680, was stolen from a construction site at 1900 Main St. in the Town Center project, township police said. The wire was reported stolen at 10:20 a.m. Thursday and is owned by L.W. Electric, 165 Thorn Run Road, Presto, police said.

Woman jailed: Bobbie L. Figolah, 32, of 1280 McKean Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records indicate. Police accuse her of entering 632 Thompson Ave. about 2 p.m. March 1 after having been evicted from the residence, the affidavit states. She is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Bad check: Michelle Lash, 50, of 474 Cook St., Fayette City, is charged in a private criminal complaint with allegedly issuing a bad check Dec. 6 for $750 to Mon Valley Youth & Teen Association of Donora, court records show. The charge was approved by the Washington County district attorney’s office. Lash is free on $2,500 bond after being arrested on a warrant and arraigned Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

One injured: A 22-year-old woman from Sturgeon suffered a laceration on her head in a head-on collision at 3:38 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of West McMurray Road, township police said. Kaylee McFall of 162 McVey St. told police she dropped her cigarette and while attempting to retrieve the burning cigarette, she took her eyes off the road. Her vehicle crossed the center line as she was traveling west and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Grant Loether, 28, of 872 Lone Pine Road, Amity, police said. Loether was not injured. McFall was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Burglary: Numerous tools valued at $5,000 were reported missing March 1 from a shop in the 1000 block of State Route 837, Southwest Regional police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.
