2 min read

Penn State Cooperative Extension will hold two natural gas workshops, “Shale Gas Update for Landowners,” March 25 in Greene and Fayette counties.

The program will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds in the 4-H Building, 107 Fairgrounds Road, Waynesburg, from 2 to 4 p.m. and at the Fayette County Extension office, 34 West Peter St., Federal Bldg., Second Floor, Uniontown, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dan Brockett with Penn State Marcellus Education will provide an open discussion on shale updates for the region and state, leasing information and leasing trends. A question and answer period will follow the discussion.

This workshop is intended to help landowners have a better understanding of what is currently occurring regarding leasing, pipeline, land use and the future of shale gas development.
