Three more wanted in Mt. Pleasant burglary

2 min read

State police have obtained warrants for the arrest of three more people wanted in connection with the Feb. 19 burglary of a Mt. Pleasant Township home.

Paul Michael Brownlee, 22, of 1185 Jefferson Ave., Canton Township; Alayna Raye Weishner-Rush, 21, of 435 Addison St., Washington; and Nicole Lynne Allen, 27, of 480 Addison, are wanted for their roles in the burglary at the home of Matthew Novick, 80 Elm Road. A fourth suspect, Shawn Lee Green, 35, who police said is homeless, was arrested last month on the burglary-related charges. He already waived his case to court.

Weishner-Rush was seeing Novick, said Trooper Sarah Teagarden. She contacted Allen, who took her out to his house with Green and Brownlee following in another car.

“She then lured Novick out of the house and left the door unlocked so Green and Brownlee could get inside,” Teagarden said of Weishner-Rush. “She had told Green where the items were located inside the house.”

The two reportedly stole a handgun, two laptop computers, an Xbox game console and big-screen television. Teagarden said some of the items were recovered at Allen’s home. Other items were sold to friends. Teagarden is trying to track down several guns that were stolen from the home, although most have been recovered.

Brownlee is charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. Weishner-Rush and Allen are each charged with receiving stolen property as well as conspiracy to commit theft and burglary.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
