Pitt-Johnstown students falling ill

1 min read

JOHNSTOWN (AP) — Officials at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown say that several students have reported an illness that’s believed to be an airborne norovirus.

The school released a statement Saturday saying that has cancelled all in-door social events for the weekend, including cafeteria services at all dining facilities.

The school has also closed its Wellness Center and is doing additional building cleaning before classes are scheduled to resume Monday.

The school says students are complaining of fever, chills, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
