Man found guilty of DUI

WAYNESBURG – A Greensboro man was found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol during a nonjury trial Wednesday before Greene County Judge William Nalitz.

Thomas M. McChesney, 62, of 203 Clear St., was stopped by state police after failing to stop at a stop sign on Diamond Street in Greensboro on Sept. 2. McChesney had a blood-alcohol content of 0.144 percent.

Following the trial, McChesney was sentenced to 48 hours to 6 months in jail, fined $525 and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.
