Two rabies clinics scheduled Saturday
Two rabies clinics will be held Saturday, one at Ryerson and the other in Brave.
The clinic at Ryerson Station State Park will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the day use area. A rabies shot for a dog or cat is $6. Dog or cat distemper shot is $10 and deworming is $4.
Jennifer Behm will be the veterinarian. The event benefits the Friends of Ryerson Station State Park.
Tails on Trails will follow at noon where pets and their owners can join a Friend’s volunteer for a guided hike on one of Ryerson’s trails.
Rabies vaccinations will be available from 9 a.m. to noon at the Dunkard Valley Gun Club. Cost is $6 for both cats and dogs. Other vaccinations also will be available.
Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers.
The event is sponsored by the Greene County Coonhunters Association.
