Theft, receiving charges: Rebecca Ann Hill, 34, of Daisytown, will be charged by California police with theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly stole jewelry April 12 from a home on Shutterly Avenue while visiting a friend who was baby-sitting. The charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Woman jailed: Lauren N. Lint, 24, of 907 Old West Road, Bentleyville, is charged by borough police with endangering the welfare of children and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records state. Police accuse her of having empty heroin stamp bags in her purse next to children’s medicine while a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop about 9:20 p.m. April 19 on the Donora-Monessen Bridge, the affidavit said. She also had a 1-year-old on her lap without using restraints, police said. She is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond after being arrested Tuesday and arraigned by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Arrested in assault: Chad R. Pelissero, 23, of 420 Second St., Donora, is charged by borough police with simple assault, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records said. Police accuse him of striking Scott Filipiak in the face about midnight April 8 at 349 Market St. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond after being arrested Tuesday and arraigned by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Charges pending: City police said a 16-year-old boy, covered in his own urine, was found inside the Technology Center at Washington & Jefferson College about 4 a.m. Monday. Two windows were damaged, and police said charges will be filed once damage estimates have been made. The teenager was released to his stepmother.
