6 may face charges for pot brownies at school
HARMONY (AP) – Police said students at a Western Pennsylvania high school could face drug charges after two of them baked a batch of brownies containing $140 worth of marijuana then sold them at school for $15 each to at least four students.
Jackson Township police said they’ll consult with the Butler County district attorney’s office before deciding what charges to file against the Seneca Valley High School students.
Police said an 18-year-old senior who baked the brownies could face adult charges, while the 17-year-old helped him and four minor students who bought them will likely be charged in juvenile court.
Police said the brownies were sold in the school.
School district officials said they’re cooperating with police and the students also face school discipline.
