WAYNESBURG – Greene County Career & Technology Center is hold its recognition ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Waynesburg Central High School.

The class of 2014, includes 104 students.

The Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening will be Jaysie Walters, a Jefferson-Morgan health assistant student and a daughter of Jason Walters of Clarksville and Chrystal Walters of Masontown.

She is the vice president of SkillsUSA and has been the president and secretary of Health Occupation Students of America. She has volunteered at Golden Living and plans to become a practical nurse.

The student speaker is Ashley Rhoads, a Jefferson-Morgan building construction occupations student and a daughter of Misty Booth of Waynesburg and Tim Rhoads of Jefferson.

She has completed a 10-hour OSHA course, is member of the National Honor Society and marching band. Her volunteer activities include Angel Tree project, Backpack program, New Jersey mission trip and worship team member at Jefferson Baptist. She has been accepted at California University of Pennsylvania as a technology education student.

The public is encouraged to attend.
