Three face numerous charges
Three Canton Township men were charged Monday in connection with thefts at a Chartiers Township motel.
Zachary W. Eidens, 23, and his 25-year-old brother, Jeffrey Raymond Eidens Jr., both of 1445 Weirich Ave., and Brian Michael Ardeno, 29, of 482 W. Wylie Ave., are charged with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy for allegedly stealing 250 feet of copper wire from a truck owned by Tommy Bison. The theft happened March 6 while the truck was parked in the lot of the Microtel motel, 501 Racetrack Road.
Police said the wire, valued at $1,000, was sold at Brookman Iron and Metals in Canton for $520.
The Eidens brothers also are charged with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy in connection with the theft of 400 feet of copper welding cable from a truck owned by Sean McAndrew while it was parked at the Microtel lot Dec. 21. That wire, valued at $2,000, also was sold at Brookman. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
