Robbery charges dismissed in Greene

1 min read

WAYNESBURG – Robbery charges against a Bobtown man filed in connection with the March 24 armed robbery of the BFS Truck Stop in Mt. Morris were dismissed Tuesday at a preliminary hearing before District Judge Lou Dayich of Waynesburg.

The charges against Shyan Michael Strosnider, 20, of 358 N. Moreland St., were dismissed after a witness in the case declined to testify.

Strosnider was charged with Travis Charles-Lee Shuppe, 20, of 151 Cemetery Hill Road, Dilliner, and was alleged to have pulled a knife on a truck stop clerk and demand money.

Shuppe earlier waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the charges and his case is proceeding to court.
