Bomb threat found in Trinity Area Middle School bathroom

School officials and police are investigating after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom at Trinity Area Middle School Thursday.

According to a letter sent to parents, the threat indicated that a bomb will go off in the middle school on the last day of school, June 10.

The building was searched and nothing was found.

School officials said extra security will be in place, and the building will be repeatedly searched.

The middle school also will be searched by a bomb-sniffing dog prior to students entering the building on the last day of school.
