MIDDLEBURG – A central Pennsylvania woman has been sentenced to five to 15 years in prison in the stabbing death of her husband’s elderly grandmother a year ago.

Thirty-year-old Jennifer Snook of Sunbury earlier pleaded no contest in Snyder County Court to conspiracy to commit 3rd-degree murder and burglary in the February 2013 death of 71-year-old Bonnie Jean Snook.

The Sunbury Daily Item reports a judge accepted the pleas Thursday and gave Snook credit for 460 days served since her arrest.

Her husband, 28-year-old Joshua Snook, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 to 60 years last month.

Authorities alleged the two went to his grandmother’s Beaver Township home in search of a gun after a bar fight, and the victim was killed and her husband injured.
